Creating beautiful, faux or decorative finishes is definitely a labor of love. Sometimes these finishes are in areas that may have high traffic or are likely to be handled or touched. Protecting these finishes with an appropriate Clear Topcoat will increase the longevity of the finish and provide a level of washability that a decorative finish may not have on its own. Golden Paintworks Clear Topcoats are available in Dead Flat, Satin and Gloss sheens to best protect and represent the desired finish. All Golden Paintworks Clear Topcoats contain <50 grams per liter VOC.
Golden Paintworks® Clear Topcoat Dead Flat is a 100% acrylic, non-yellowing, water based, low VOC, protective topcoat with great clarity and no sheen. It is water resistant, abrasion resistant and applies easily. Brush, roll or spray apply over any previously painted or cured decorative finish that requires protection and a uniform flat appearance. Perfect for maintaining the aged appearance of Golden Paintworks Weathered Granite and Sandstone Textures, while providing added protection. Available in Quart and Gallon sizes.
Golden Paintworks® Clear Topcoat Satin is a 100% acrylic, non-yellowing, water based, low VOC, protective topcoat with great clarity and a satin sheen. It is water resistant, abrasion resistant and applies easily. Brush, roll or spray apply over any previously painted or cured decorative finish that requires protection and a uniform satin appearance. An excellent protective clear coat for faux wood graining and Metallic Paint finishes. Available in Quart and Gallon sizes.

Golden Paintworks® Protective Sealing Wax is a 100% acrylic, non-yellowing, water based, low VOC, protective coating, providing low-gloss protection for Venetian Plaster and other decorative finishes. Brush, trowel or cloth apply over any previously painted or cured decorative finish. Buff with a soft cloth when dry. Available in Quarts.
